Re: How to convince someone to *test* XYplorer instead of Total Commander?
Got my TC license in 1996. The summary by Horst matches my use. I generally liked the idea of a better more feature rich Explorer - so I bought XYplorer to "have" it in my 'toolbox'. So I essentially convinced myself to *test* it. It took some time, with me gradually exploring the many fea...

Build thumbnails for a tree
Really cool that .heic is supported. Don't recall if that's native or if I was guided to make that work. Anyway, it takes a little time and I was wondering if there was a way to choose a folder and have it parse all sub-folders and create the thumbnails?

Folder view
Found this when searching for a way to switch between different views of objects in different folders... +++ Switch Folder Views. Now you can switch between the current and your favorite folder view with a single keystroke. A folder view includes column layout, sort order, list view, and list style....

Force rebuild of MP4 thumbnails - but not ALL
I'm using XYplorer lately to manage a collection of MP4's - filing them into organized folders. So allot of 'moves' between panes. I just noticed tonight some thumbnails no longer match the video. Right click the same thumbnail though and the large version is accurate. I don't want to rebuild everyt...

Preview Pane Zoom / remember choice?
Is there a way to have the Preview Pane remember the zoom setting when I change it? I'm previewing a bunch of PDF's and it resets every time.

Ah, ok, I had not considered that. I only saw one download there and it's a 64-bit version.

Re: Preview Videos Issue
Ok, so even though VLC plays everything I have (presumably through their 'plug-ins' and not OS integrated codecs) I need K-Lite for other 3rd party apps?

Re: Preview Videos Issue
Same problem here. F11, Ctrl+F11, F12 all just show a still image and the same message on the status bar. Still on 20.80.100.
WMV works fine, while VOB's only play audio. Can't find any AVI's at the moment.

Re: size of pdf MDBU preview
I did find a clear button on the Thumbnail settings page, but it just gives an error once you confirm the clear. What error? Sorry for the delay, it seems that if you clear the cache while viewing a folder containing PDF's that have thumbnails, you get this error. Navigate to a folder containing no...

Ah, sorry, I should have clarified, PDF. BUT, thanks for that tip, I went ahead and ticked that checkbox. I would have been looking for that soon enough so now that's handled
