Hi,
In noticed that something is slowing down my computer. In task manager there is one instance of xyplorer under "apps", but multiple instances under "Background processes". When I close the xyplorer window, the instance under "apps" closes, but all the others stay running in background processes. After I close all of them one by one from task manager, the machine runs normally again.
Those instances appear, when i have a pdf selected in xyplorer and switch on the preview pane. Each time i switch the preview on and off another process starts and each time i change the selected pdf (while having preview pane open) another new process starts. They never close, no matter what I do afterwards.
Previews of jpgs or other files do not trigger that extra instance.
Thanks

Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).
We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

pdf x-change editor.
This manual suggest to install the viewer, but on the pdfx-change website I could only find the download for the editor.

The download is here: https://www.pdf-xchange.com/product/dow ... scontinued
and in the faq entry clicking the first link (here highlighted in bold) would have led you to the same place...
Install the free PDF-XChange Viewer or the non-free PDF-XChange Editor*.
