I tried the 45.7MB jpg.
IE can't open it. IrfanView can open it, but it scales it down to 10800x10800.
Haha, those are ridiculously huge

NASA has huge image files.

Set the preview limitation accordingly. I still get the message "Cannot decode".

OK, it's the keyboard selection issue. It has to be a Latin-based keyboard for Alt + Num to work.

v7.10.0010 - 2008-05-14 11:29 + Font Preview: Now the Edit box containing the sample text supports UNICODE. In other words: I finally managed to write a UNICODE compliant Edit Control -- a personal triumph :) Good job! Alt + Num Pad input method doesn't seem to be supported yet

Notepad does allow you to save a file containing only the word "Cologne" as ANSI (= 7 bytes), but a file containing the word "Köln" must be saved as UNICODE (= 2 * 4 + 2 BOM = 10 bytes), correct? Correct. Google for "unused leadbytes" and you'll find not much... Yeah, ...

All I could do is to create always UNICODE files if the system has a DBCS codepage (as japan, korea, china, thailand). Is that good? Not restricted to DBCS, but Arabic, Greek, Hebrew, Russian, among others would probably do "funny things." If you are serious about the phrase "E...

admin wrote:But if you have "Германия" AND "ö" in one file it does work, right?
Yes, when both of them (seperated by space) make up a single text string on the clipboard. So why doesn't "Köln" alone work?

I'm sorry, but the newly created txt file is encoded in the system default, not in UTF-16. So "ö" is necessarily garbled in my environment. With "Германия", it's correctly encoded in UTF-16

v7.00.0053 - 2008-04-26 22:02 + Menu Edit | Paste Special | Paste Clipboard Into New Textfile: This function as well as the Drop-Text-To-File feature now both support UNICODE. So drag-drop your Olympic Games Schedule in Chinese in a blink (in case you bother). "Германия" works, but "...
