Thumbnail Sizes / Gaps around images.

Post by Skettalee »

Example Image: https://i.ibb.co/6DzGzfM/Screenshot-202 ... 184330.png

Noticed how much space I have there in between each folder why cant i get that to be closer together as there is way too much empty space. Have tried for a while Padding or caption lines but I can only do 0 and cant get to negative on pading and caption lines dont do much

You can change it here: Configuration | Preview | Thumbnails | Thumbnail widths and heights

PS: Oh, these all appear to be folders showing a special folder icon. There is a max size for icons. So they won't get bigger.

PS2: You might want to enable this for more consistent looks: Configuration | Preview | Thumbnails | Show folder thumbnails

That makes things more condensed thank you. But only thing is the folders now seem to be incased in a thick yellow border and i cant find that color in the settings anywhere. How can i get rid of these yellow outlines on certain things? And even some folders are just picking a one picture in that folder and displaying that instead of even a folder so it gets hard to know if anything is a folder or an image.

PS: Every items on my screenshot is a folder, only 3 are showing as folders.

There have been numerous tweaks and changes regarding folder thumbnails and borders associated with them over the past few years. As a start, I'd suggest looking / searching the forum at these tweaks (search for the "key" like clrFolderThumbsBorderWidth)

Code: Select all

FolderThumbs=1
FolderThumbsShell=0
FolderThumbsDesktopIni=0
FolderThumbsCustomExtensions=pdf
clrFolderThumbs1=16777215
clrFolderThumbs2=16777215
clrFolderThumbsBorder=16777215
clrFolderThumbsBorderWidth=-1
For example:
viewtopic.php?t=24806&start=15
viewtopic.php?t=24213
viewtopic.php?t=19589
