Feature wish - move selected files to new folder

I am forever sorting folders full of 100s of images into photosets/new folders. Currently I have to remember to create a new folder manually before I select the files to go into it. If I forget, I lose my selections in the course of creating a new folder manually. Sometimes while browsing an image folder I spot files I wish to move but have to go and find them again because creating a new folder causes the listing to jump to the top.

What I would like...
After Crtl-clicking on the files I wish to separate I would like to be able to right click on a selected file and in the context menu have the option to automatically create a new (sub)folder in the current folder and have those files selected moved into the new folder.

A dialogue box popping up to invite the user to name the new folder or accept the default would be a bonus.

I live and learn, I never considered looking under "Duplicate" to move files, perhaps that label should be clearer e.g., "Copy/Move Special"
In 30+ years I have never before come across a secondary context menu that only appears after a short drag.

Personally I think this feature is one others would use more, a selling point even, if it was more obvious.

Thank you for your reply, it's made my day and at least I now know where to find it - though Ctrl+Shift+X will be my method of choice.

Now I have just got to find a way to stop target folders expanding when I drop a folder into them in the left side tree display an XYplorer will be perfect.

Looking at all the commands contained in the menu, what about "Copy/Move Here"?

There is a tweak for this:

    + Tree: Added a tweak to control whether tree nodes auto-expand when you drag things 
      over them. The factory setting has always been Yes. Now you can turn it off:
        TreeExpandOnDragOver=0

Do you not think this could be confused with "Move/Copy/Backup To" that is already in that menu while "Copy/Move Special" sits nicely with "Rename Special".

Either way, they are both better than "Duplicate"

"Mini Tree" I had already tried but in that view I lose sight of the target folder but "Lock Tree" was exactly what I was looking for so thank you.

Well, both are similar to "Move/Copy/Backup To" so both could be confused. For now I'll just stick with Duplicate. As I wrote already 12 years ago:

I'm aware that "Move Here to New Subfolder" does not fit under the
heading Duplicate, but hey... I'm confident your brain can handle
it.
