Do you have any plans on adding native zip/rar support to tracker? I've noticed some of the other free file manager's have them, but I just like tracker so much better
I'm sure you'll ask why I want this, since I can just install winrar and winzip. Well, I'm trying to get away from having all of these clients just for compression, as well as cluttering up my shell context menu (which is already way cluttered).
Seems like compression should just be part of a file manager's basic functionality (which windows pitifully tried to impelement). Currenly I am using 7-zip, since it can handle almost any format, but it's context menu is limited (it just has one entry called "Add to Archive...". I tried some of the other freeware zipping utils and they all had some fairly major shortcomings.
BTW, any progress on that icon stuff? Not pushing. Just curious.
Thanks
