Virtual resolution for MDBU
Is it possible?this allows for better resizing of larger images,and it doesn't affect smaller images.

Re: Virtual resolution for MDBU
Sometimes I set the resolution to 1920 x 1080,the preview image is too small for me to see all of it. Such as a screenshot of a phone,the phone's resolution is 1440 x 3200, not 3200 x 1440.

Just untick Configuration | Preview | Mouse Down Blow Up | General | Shrink to fit and you see it in original size independently of the monitor resolution.

Re: Virtual resolution for MDBU
I didn't ticked that "Shrink to fit", some of the images have a resolution of more than 3840 x 2160, such as photos taken by cell phones, the original size was too large...so I posted this wish. My wish is to customize only larger image sizes.

OK, I see. But I think this is a rare wish. Probably not something I will add.

Re: Virtual resolution for MDBU
as wish will not be fulfilled, i propose topic starter to use XnView, free picture browser that has for example this size shrink options:

I've already installed it, that is fit to window, can't resize, and I like to use XY to view images, convenient and swift.

Re: Virtual resolution for MDBU
Well, somehow I started to like the idea. I added a tweak to make it possible. With the next beta you can try this:
Code: Select all
ShrinkToFitVirtualMonitor=1
ShrinkToFitVirtualMonitorSpecs=3840,2160https://www.xyplorer.com/faq-topic.php?id=tweak

Re: Virtual resolution for MDBU
Thanks again for adding this feature. I increase the height of the image by adjusting the height of "VirtualMonitor". Is there a way to reduce sensitivity of "Loupe"? a little shake...Switch to Loupe and I can continue to increase the height of "VirtualMonitor".
Of course, it's good enough for me now.

Re: Virtual resolution for MDBU
Are you using MDBU on icons or thumbnails or previews? Where do you get that Loupe problem?

Re: Virtual resolution for MDBU
I usually use MDBU on thumbnails, if I use MDBU on icons I'll switch "movement" to "Loupe".
