Code: Select all
goto "%recycler%", 1;You're right. When I try to go to locations via an environment variable, the functionality does not work. Perhaps it was not meant to or it is a bug. I did the TabBinding tweak, and on the locked recycler tab, I clicked "Set Home", and "Lock Home Zone", but the inter-pane feature I didn't see. Thanks.
So if the current tab is not locked, can this tweak lead to switching to the recycler tab on the other pane?; Tweak: autoselect first tab with a matching locked homezone when current tab is locked
No, only when the current tab is locked.Huidong wrote:So if the current tab is not locked, can this tweak lead to switching to the recycler tab on the other pane?; Tweak: autoselect first tab with a matching locked homezone when current tab is locked
But it does not. Here are the steps I take to reproduce (TabBinding tweak already enabled):admin wrote:Will work better next version.
TabBinding only works when you are on a locked tab.zer0 wrote:But it does not. Here are the steps I take to reproduce (TabBinding tweak already enabled):admin wrote:Will work better next version.
1. Pane 1, open a new tab, go to %recycler% in it.
2. Pane 1, %recycler% tab, right-click and Set Home, right-click and Lock Home Zone.
3. Pane 2, open a new tab, paste %recycler% into AB and hit Enter. Alternatively, just be in another tab in Pane 2 and click on RB in the tree.
The expected behaviour would be for the view to change to that tab in Pane 1. Alas, target location is opened in existing tab with no switching taking place.
So the location has to be locked as well? That doesn't sound right to me as then what's the point of locking the home zone if one cannot browse freely within it in a designated tabadmin wrote:TabBinding only works when you are on a locked tab.zer0 wrote:But it does not. + Tweak for better reuse of existing tabs. Set to 1 to autoselect
the first tab with a matching locked homezone when the current tab
is locked. Tabs are scanned from left to right, first in pane 1,
then in pane 2.
