Official toolbar button for "manage folder views"?

Post by ghost zero »

How about add an official toolbar button for "manage folder views"? I know we can right click on the "folder view settings" button to access it but it's not convenient. Would be nice for "manage folder views" to have it's own dedicated toolbar button for quicker access.

BTW: I know we can make our own custom button for it, but it would be nice to have an official icon for it.

In what way is accessing the context menu of that button inconvenient? Why is having a Don-made icon better than flexibility of choosing your own?

because it would be a convenient button to have next to the "save current folder view" button. i frequently use them together. and i wouldn't have to hunt/make a suitable custom icon for it.

I hear you about the convenience part. However, having TB buttons included for context menu entries is a bit of an overkill IMO. If such button is as convenient as you say, doing a little icon hunting/tweaking is bound to pay off.

If it's simply a matter of aesthetics, then your business case is weak and it takes time/money (or both) to make good icons in multiple sizes.
