I hope that this has not been posted before......I looked for it and could not find it......
Often, when I open up a folder, the program seems to hang (the menu bar disappears and the whole program locks up momentarily) for about 10 seconds or so.
Is this a known problem? Is there something that I can do to stop that from happening?

1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).
We recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once.

What happens if you come out of that folder and go back into it? Do you experience the same delay? Do you get that delay in Explorer? What OS are you running?
What are the typical contents of such slow-to-load folders? I often encounter delays on first-time visits to folders with numerous executables.

I will experiment with that and post back my results. As for the first question, it seems to be OK when I go back into the folder, so I think I am getting your drift.....it primarily happens on first time visits to folders with many exe files? Interesting........
