Resize preview panel
Hi
Thanks for your great work
I hope if it is possible to resize the preview panel.
For videos and pdf's, the height needs to be increased
Thanks

Re: Resize preview panel
You can increase the height of the preview panel by increasing the height of the overall info panel

Re: Resize preview panel
When you say 'resize', what exactly do you mean?
Have you already used F12 (Maximize IP) which makes the list only one item? Or have you dragged the split line between list and IP (info panel) which is (admittedly a bit hidden) just above the tabs on IP?

Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!

the "preview panel" is called "Info Panel", take an look into the "Window" menu for resize options.
You can also manual resize the IP by left clicking the thin line right over 'Properties | Version | Preview |'
To see the attached files, you need to log into the forum.

Re: Resize preview panel
Thank you all
I have the panel resized to the maximum
But when i am viewing a video, there is still more room vertically, but the video takes only part of that space, i mean there is more space for the video, so i hoped to increase its size

Re: Resize preview panel
What's the resolution of a video file that you're trying to preview? AR is preserved on those previews, so that's worth bearing in mind.raulgg wrote:But when i am viewing a video, there is still more room vertically, but the video takes only part of that space, i mean there is more space for the video, so i hoped to increase its size

Re: Resize preview panel
In the preview tab, on the right side, there's a small area that displays some basic information about a file and includes "Play/Pause/Stop" buttons. Where it says "Size:...", the resolution in pixels is shown as well as a percentage of the full picture size that is being previewed. As you increase/decrease the preview area, that percentage is going to vary, but it will never be more than 100% -- no matter how big you will make your preview area.raulgg wrote:I know, the AR is fixed

Re: Resize preview panel
My question still stands: what are the dimensions of the video that you are trying to preview? You can increase the width of the preview pane by moving the tree/list dividerraulgg wrote:Thanks

640x480 reduced to 527x395 (82%)zer0 wrote:My question still stands: what are the dimensions of the video that you are trying to preview? You can increase the width of the preview pane by moving the tree/list dividerraulgg wrote:Thanks

This is the maximum I could get

Another point:
It would be nice to be able to maximize videos to full screen

Re: Resize preview panel
Quite strange -- I just previewed a video of those dimensions in 100% view by manually increasing the height, as the info panel was already wide enough.raulgg wrote: 640x480 reduced to 527x395 (82%)

For that there are dedicated video players (VLC, WMP, MPC, etc)raulgg wrote: Another point:

Re: Resize preview panel
At last I found the reason for the empty space in the preview panel:
I use windows vista, and I have Adjust font size (DPI) in control panel set to Larger scale (120 dpi).
I tried to revert to default (90), restarted, and the preview occupied the whole area, and really looks good.
Is there a way to make it work for "Large scale"?
Thanks

Re: Resize preview panel
I think so. But could you send a screenshot please to make clear what you mean by "empty space"?raulgg wrote:At last I found the reason for the empty space in the preview panel:
