I just noticed, that when you insert a new CD/USB drive etc. and windows displays the "auto-play" dialogue, and you select "open folder", then the folder will really be opened in the windows explorer and not in xyplorer.
it would be cool if you could fix this.
or, even better would be this: I could completely disable autoplay in windows, but XYplorer should automatically detect that a new drive has been connected and simply open it in a new tab. That would be cool, because the autoplay dialogue is annoying anyway.

Re: Replace Windows Auto-Play
On XP, you can set it to open a particular application on insertion of an Audio CD. I'm pretty sure you can do the same, or similar, on Vista and Win 7.
Regarding automatic detection and subsequent action: this is something that may come with CEAs (see roadmap)

Re: Replace Windows Auto-Play
There is a shareware app that I've had some experience with which may help in this area: USB Safely Remove as described further on http://safelyremove.com/help/ht_useAutoRun.htm.
I don't use it all the time but when I'm doing a lot of USB activity with various devices, I'll turn in on...
Just a suggestion...
