Failed copy from network with verification

I just installed the trial version and so far it checks all my boxes. I have one issue though. I enabled verification when copying and now with every copy from the network, I get the an error, such the following:

If you look at the file size, it actually seems like the copy worked fine.

I'm using Windows 11, with 28.00.0500 trial version.

1) Strange, I cannot reproduce it. Did you already try verification methods other than MD5?

2) Does this script work and return d41d8cd98f00b204e9800998ecf8427e? text hash("md5", ""); (paste script into address bar and press ENTER)

Sorry, didn't get a notification that you replied.

1) I tried sha-1, same issue.

2) I do get `d41d8cd98f00b204e9800998ecf8427e` when I ran the script.

The interesting thing is that it doesn't happen for all files. E.g.:

I wonder if it has to do with size. It is a clean install (I now also have a license), with just some normal changes in the settings. But I didn't script anything etc.

I installed 28.00.0500, but same issue.

I tried with

and compared a changed setting at a time, and I found that turning on "Enable background processing" made it fail. Although, without background processing, I don't see the full log I saw before, so I'm not 100% sure it worked - all I see is the green checkmark and "hashing done". So I'm assuming it worked.

You don't see the full log in foreground processing? Why? The report should always be available.
