Moving to an identical image with Suffix

Hi All,
On "Move" an image, if the destination has an identical image name, how do I add an option to still move with a suffix please?

I had this on my 2019 XYPlorer, but my new Dell I have lost all my settings
I did due diligence of searching "help" but could not find it
Thanks in advance

Also : what is the pane called just right of the tree ? Pane?
I would like the background to be grey, but it resists all attempts to colour it under "tree and list"

1) Just enable Custom Copy, and it then has the suffix option in the collision dialog.

Configuration | File Operations | File Operations | Custom Copy Operations | Use Custom Copy

2) It is called the List [Pane], you change the color here:

Configuration | Colors and Styles | Colors | List >> Background

but it has to be changed individually for all the different modes in the dropdown (directly under the List heading), and many things can influence it like grid, sorted column, boxed branch etc.

Hope this does not appear petty,
Is there a way to increase the "Scroll button" size?
wider with a stronger look to the button, not just a flimsy line.

I move hundreds perhaps thousands of stamp images a week,
and I find the tiny button an irritation.

I have never tried myself, but you could try this:

Someone I think once said it doesn't apply in XY, but lots of times people say things don't work, when they just didn't follow the instructions properly, so you may want to test yourself.

Well, that was weird, I went the regedit route on this XY (2019 ver) and it worked a treat, a big fat scrollbar. (-355 if I recall)

My lifetime version (offline) I am not game to try it just yet
still trying other things

The new version has weird settings, say in a folder of 2000 images
I can scroll in the 2019 ver, just plonk the cursor anywhere, and it scrolls up / down by the wheel mouse

In the new ver, it scrolls, but when the cursor rests on an image, the image enlarges auto,
and if i scroll the week mouse, it just enlarges the image or decreases, it "hiccups" the up or down scroll

XY (for me) is like learning to fly a jet plane, I am IT compromised.

You do realize you can just migrate your settings from one PC to the next without having to set it all up fresh every time don't you. Recommend backup first.

Was not aware of that. Interesting.

It would not have helped in this case, I had XY on Win7 that was taking an hour to boot.
Fearing I would lose 500Gb I "copied" everything to Win 10 box (8 hrs) (was a dodgy PSU)

My decision then was to buy "Macrium"
As soon as I get my settings sweet, I'll just clone, every 3 months or so.

Please take a pat on the back, for your sage advice. It's been very helpful.

Confirmation: Changing scroll width, Win 11 Pro, and 2025 XYP
This was my preferred setting at -355
It changes both the tree and pane scroll button.
