First off, this may or may not be a bug in XY, as there are two programs at play here and it could be either one! I've posted a report for the other application as well (here), so hopefully one or the other can solve it.
The problem occurs when dragging and dropping a cover image file from within MP3Tag onto an XYplorer window. The image is supposed to be copied to the dropped directory. A file is created with the correct file size, but it's full of null bytes and not the actual image data.

Does it make a difference if you check Configuration | Other | Shell Integration | Drag and Drop | Use standard shell drag and drop? (I don't expect it, but just to make sure.)

I tested with that checked and unchecked, same result either way.
