:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Drag+Drop not handled properly in some cases

Post by Quaraxkad »

First off, this may or may not be a bug in XY, as there are two programs at play here and it could be either one! I've posted a report for the other application as well (here), so hopefully one or the other can solve it.

The problem occurs when dragging and dropping a cover image file from within MP3Tag onto an XYplorer window. The image is supposed to be copied to the dropped directory. A file is created with the correct file size, but it's full of null bytes and not the actual image data.

Does it make a difference if you check Configuration | Other | Shell Integration | Drag and Drop | Use standard shell drag and drop? (I don't expect it, but just to make sure.)

I tested with that checked and unchecked, same result either way.

You have a link for a test version of MP3Tag?
