in my xyplorer.ini file, i found that i had quite a few references to E:\(whatever) and that drive no longer exists. i cleaned up several of them and would still get the no-start and error; however, once i edited the
StartPath setting, the app started up without any problem ! it was previously pointing to a path on the non-existent E: drive. once changed to D:, no issue.so it would appear this error is thrown if it encounters a path that doesn't exist, especially in the
StartPath entry.
