Program hardly Responds when in Certain Folders

I have a few folders on some of my drives that have alot of files. One specific one for sure if I go into that folder I can barely get XYplorer to respond to let me manage the files at all. This folder usually holds around 1.1 TB's of Video Files. Is there anything I can do in the settings to change whatever it is spending on the time thinking and doing when I try to go to that folder? There are a few others with less than 1 TB's of files like images or videos but that 1.1 TB folder is the most difficult to try to do anything in. Im not sure what extra information you may need in order to help me to troubleshoot the issue so let me know and I will respond with that information as well.

To sum up the consistency of how often the programs stops responding it always takes up to 1 minute to load the list of files (currently 980 files) in the folder, i always keep it set to list video and dont have any preview window or anything showing the actual screenshots of the videos or any other information other than the name of the files. Once it responds again I do anything in that folder like delete a file or rename a file then it stops responding again for up to 1 minute again.

1: View Mode is List View, all I see is the file names and their icons.

Switch to details view, remove the custom column 6

Ok so I am looking at my custom columns right now and the #6 one is Dimensions which I do have the (1. Dimensions (Ratio)) that I forgot I had which I guess I could use that instead but I need to have the ability to see the dimensions if I need to. Let me ask this, even though I might be in list view where it isn't showing any extra information like these custom columns, does it still mean that each file is still being checked to fill in that information?
And if so, can i switch to details view and then hide all the columns and then switch back to list view and it run faster?

Thank you so much for that information. it makes more sense to me now. But I dont understand what is the relevance to the other thread that is just talking about a recent beta version yall released. I went and made sure that I was updated to that version after seeing this but still dont understand it. Sorry, dont be upset with me for not understanding as things are often described vague to me.

+ Menu View | Columns: Added toggle "Skip Custom Columns". Check it to not fill custom
columns in the current list. Custom columns are often time-consuming, especially
when scripts are involved. This new option allows you to temporarily disable this
service when the extra information is not needed.
As always, it's remembered across sessions.
Note that you can still manually populate a custom column by clicking "Refresh
Column" in the context menu of the column header.

Oh wow thats awesome, thank you so much! I appreciate the explanation alot! I still offer any of my services if yall every do want to use them as I've asked before. I just want to show my appreciation more. And incase yall dont remember I am a graphic designer, animator, motion graphic designer, music producer, musician, artist, rapper, singer, beat maker, sound effect creator, 3d Modeler Texture & Animator, and now also understand and use ai for image, audio & video creation. Not sure how yall would want to use any of them but I can throw out ideas like:
Sound effects creation, Icon & Button design, creating video tutorials, commercials or any other type of advertisement for your software even a theme song lol.
