Bought it, legit key but still on free trial. How do I unlock it?

I did all that, took key ok but still on trial.

If in doubt, find the XYplorer.ini in your XYplorer data folder (normally %APPDATA%\XYplorer)

Quit XYplorer

Open the .ini file with an editor and at the beginning of the file you have this: Paste the name from your license after Name= and the key from your license after Code=
Save the file
Start XYplorer

I've edited your post. Never reveal license details in a forum post^^

I can't unlock a trial with your license data as well...

Write a mail to support@xyplorer.com

and attach your license details with payment information...

Over the years I've had hundreds of users claiming the key wasn't working. You know how often they were wrong? ALWAYS.

Emailed XYplorer. Told me it works, no help

Come on, you sent me a screenshot that shows you entered only a part of the key. Is it really so hard to copy and paste the whole key?

Victor: How many characters does your key / code have? The one you've posted (and which I edited afterwards) had only 34 characters. That's too short...

I have over 30 years experience programming in windows, linux etc.

3/10 morning I just paid for an upgrade to latest 22.90 but XY still giving error:

Your trial version has expired.

On my new laptop it was a fresh install of XY.
On my old laptop it was an upgrade - I already had 2017 version installed.

What should I do next?
I did not reboot my computer after re-install.
I restarted my XY many times to no avail.
I checked my xyplorer.ini and it has the same "code" as the key that was given to me today. Some of that ini and some code is here:
