Right mouse clicking on a folder in tree or file list panes causes TrackerV3 to close with the standard Windows error message. Clicking on a file displays a context menu.
I didn't notice it before but I cannot remember when I last used a right mouse click on a folder since it is not a common requirement. Version is 0096.
I also recently installed PixVue which installs as a context menu item so don't know if that is causing the problem.

Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).
We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Re: Right click on folder
You guessed it, that's the culprit. I explained elsewhere in this forum (here) that some custom shell extensions lead to trouble. Unfortunately I cannot do much about it.Gandolf wrote:I also recently installed PixVue which installs as a context menu item so don't know if that is causing the problem.

I've just seen on another forum reference to ShellExView from http://www.nirsoft.net with which you can disable context menu items. I haven't tried it but it sounds interesting.
