Right click on folder

Post by Gandolf »

Right mouse clicking on a folder in tree or file list panes causes TrackerV3 to close with the standard Windows error message. Clicking on a file displays a context menu.

I didn't notice it before but I cannot remember when I last used a right mouse click on a folder since it is not a common requirement. Version is 0096.

I also recently installed PixVue which installs as a context menu item so don't know if that is causing the problem.

You guessed it, that's the culprit. I explained elsewhere in this forum (here) that some custom shell extensions lead to trouble. Unfortunately I cannot do much about it.

I've just seen on another forum reference to ShellExView from http://www.nirsoft.net with which you can disable context menu items. I haven't tried it but it sounds interesting.
