I must say that this behaviour sounds very nice... Hoovering and having to click only the chosen location... Mmm. Well, something for a nice-to-have times.

At the moment, congratulations to Don also from me.

IMO the current location is the most important thing to see in a FM, so I made it big and fat. But no worries, you can configure it later.

Sorry about the length - I wanted to illustrate some of the finer, and possibly less-noticed, aspects in their implementation.
It's dangerous to go alone. Take this! :cup:
Thanks for the ideas and the coffee. But: Not possible. 1) Technical issues. 2) I don't like some visual aspects of the Win7 BC. It lacks the beauty of perfection.

Concerning the large menus: I just came back from wasting 5 hours in a dead end. I'm currently stuck. But I will find a way...

If there are too many folders, after clicking on the triangle the big popup will cover the triangle, so it is impossible to close the popup by clicking on the triangle again.

Uhm, you said that already and I replied already. http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic. ... 636#p93636

Patience, man, I'm hard-working on it the whole day, but it's very tricky. Have not seen the light yet...

I am not senile :-D It was not the same problem.

1. Previously I complained about the slow navigation in the popup.
2. Now I mentioned the triangle on the breadcrumbs bar, which opens the popup.

Ok, nevermind, just do your work, and later, when the things settle and it remains necessary I will take screenshots.

Code: Select all

+ Tweak to alter the minimal font size for the breadcrumbs. To avoid
issues with fractions the size is given as "milli size" (9.75 =>
9750, which is the factory default for this value):
        CrumbMiniFontMilliSize=9750
:?:

But

Yeah, yeah, yeah!

Don, thanks a lot. :D :D :D

Now just the inverted colors (white background, black/grey foreground; no icon - it's in the tab ....).

And I have to say it again: Yeah!

Oh wow that new tweak is great!!! Now the Breadcrumbs really blends in well with the interface! AWESOME!

HAHAHAHA!! Took Don long enough. Now he believe...

EDIT: Just have to say Don, but the new version is looking better and better and better!
The color shading when you hover over the arrows and the change in arrow direction when you click on it looks fantastic!! Plus the fact that I change the minimum size now to 9.00, everything blends in. FANTASTIC!

Any other opinions on my idea of the minimum font size? Maybe I'm just crazy and I should drop this idea? Or just leave it as a tweak? Yes, probably... :)

Leaving it as tweak until you get multiple "how can I/where do I" queries seems good solution for now...

I've set mine to a lower value but it doesn't have any effect, it seems...should it override a larger font size in Config?
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
(XP on laptop with touchpad and thus NO mouse!) Using latest beta vers when possible.

It's not meant as an actual setting. The font size for the BCs are still controlled by the Main Content Fonts in the configuration. All this tweak does is set the minimum for the BC. So basically if your Main Content Fonts is set to 8 but the minimum BCs tweak is set to 9.00 (9000), then the BC's font would still be at 9. Now if you change the minimum to 5, then the BC's font will now be at 8 since it's more than the minimum.

Haha maybe you should just leave as a tweak although I think setting it at 9250 might be a better idea than at 9750. That's just my opinion of course haha.
