Menu integration with two products now missing

Post by pmuldoon »

Hi

I really enjoy being able to right-click a file/folder and from the menu being able to choose the 7-Zip (64-bit) program and the TeraCopy program. I have installed XYplorer on a new computer (Win 7 64 bit), then installed both of those programs, but they no longer show up in the menu. Is there a setting or procedure I am missing? Your help is much appreciated.

Many thanks for a great program!

Patrick

Hi and welcome to the XY forums!

Having said that, did you even bother to look at the FAQ's at http://www.xyplorer.com/faq.php before you created this thread?

Sorry but my tolerance for these redundant threads on this topic is wearing low.
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!

Well, no, I didn't even think of looking for an FAQ section, especially when you have a support forum. I searched through the "Tips & Tricks" forum and didn't find an answer. I then proceeded to enter a new topic, since my time is valuable too.

It solved for one program, guess I will have to wait for the end of 2012 when you have a 64-bit version for the other.

Thanks.

Good point. I just added the FAQ link to this forum's description. I think this will help other new-comers somewhat in future.

Excuse the grumpy welcome by one old-time forum member and enjoy XY,
Donald

 Sorry - just caught me at a bad moment - and I normally don't look at a site forum until I've looked at site FAQ's - guess some people do the reverse - but even the simplest of searches here on ALL subforums would have found many prior threads.

Don, I agree that adding that link may well help others in future! Good move! :appl:

Well, searching is not easy. You need to be lucky with your keywords. I tried with "menu integration missing" and found nothing.
