"Undo close tab" function and toolbar button?

Post by ghost zero »

How about add an "undo close tab" function and toolbar button? Like undo but for bringing back closed tabs. It would be convenient to use.

Ah, sorry . I was going for parity with Firefox + Tab Mix Plus, I guess.

can we have these improvements to make it more useful?

- a toolbar button for it
- a dropdown restore history to select any previously closed tabs during the session
- activate the tab when restored

DIY :P

Code: Select all

View / Tab / Restore Last Closed Tab	#343

that's not the same because it doesn't have undo tab history dropdown

at first i thought XY needed such function, but now i don't care = after all it's not a browser where it's difficult to memorize all addresses and sites :)

There's a reason why I quoted only the part about having a toolbar button ;)

web addresses are self descriptive in their large majority not to mention particular favicons which are displayed by web browsers more or less grouping several "files" {pages, equivalent to desktop documents} in a reasonable "by topic" manner.

things are different on desktops with the increasing hard drives capacity, generic icons standing for folders and document-type-specific icons instead of file-by-file icons {impractical anyway} so any extra help is welcome. my 2 cents.

For undoing closing tabs try:

Ctrl +T +H
