XYplorer Beta Club
When I click on a, Excel file, or even more the cursor onto it with the down arrow key, XY gives me a box asking if I want to open or save it. It does not do this with Word or PDF files.
How can I stop this?

Sounds like XYplorer is trying to preview it, which currently works for Word and PDF files but not Excel spreadsheets. Go Configuration > Previewed Formats > Web & Office files and untick the relevant Excel extension.
