Upgrade from Home to Pro?
Just curious, if for example i buy a Lifetime licence Home, is there a possibility to upgrade to pro license without having to pay the full price of $44.95? I am sure some might take that path.

From the Home Edition info page (http://www.xyplorer.com/homeedition.php):
Upgrading to Pro. There is no upgrade path from Home to Pro Edition. If you later decide you need the Pro Edition you will have to buy it at the full price.

This is upsetting because I just bought the home version and now all my scripts are gone. I thought home was for non-business use; I didn't realize it was crippled.

I'm sorry. The homepage is totally clear about the nature of the home edition. I cannot understand how it is possible not to see this.

Terminology is important here: It's not crippled, but rather "feature reduced" as shown on http://www.xyplorer.com/purchase.php...there is a difference as the trial version does have some limitations which some may call 'crippled'.logik wrote: I didn't realize it was crippled.
And Don is correct in that it's VERY obvious on this page http://www.xyplorer.com/homeedition.php as to what features are not part of the Home vers...and you see it also by using the Config option to emulate it...so while I don't want you to be upset at Don, I have to say that you had plenty of notice and info to make your purchase choice.
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
