Yes, I found a surprisingly (shocking actually!) strong resistence in Germany against the non-German interface (only topped by the resistence of French folks, of course). And since I speak German putting out a German version would be fairly easy for me.

I think English is THE language for software. A translation to German, while possible, will be rather clumsy and packed with anglicisms anyway. And as I said, there are only two countries in the whole wide beautiful world that again and again ask me for a version in their language: France and Germany. I find this surprising because Germany is not such a bad place to learn English.

Be careful. Such statements may awaken folks who have long been asking for multi-language interface in XYplorer. I wouldn't have thought Deutschland isn't the only country in the world with such resistance

German is also a country with a very beautiful, mighty language; unlike English which might be commonly used because it is easy ("add an s, that's the plural") but does not sound well.
