Use system modified icons?

I've never went that far in Windows customization (changing the entire shell was always the only option!), I've just HEARD about Windows Themes and don't know for sure if a simple shell32.dll substitution is possible or even safe - and having no time to test for now!
But you might want to try this (found googling on another issue, a simple table/index to check shell32.dll icon set):

I intend to not put a direct link once as far as I know that kind of file replacement is illegal. Also notice the "Beta" at the name of the thing. -Use at your own entire risk!
