Dual Pane Breadcrumbed Address Bar

Post by jayfischer »

I did a search of address bar and breadcrumbs and found some topics that addressed one or the other but not both (I don't think) - but I didn't see anything that mentioned this.

I use dual pane exclusively and I'm lazy :) . What about an AB above each pane with a breadcrumb'ed path.

I am sort of getting used to using the right click on the left side of the tab. But having the full path always visible - RIGHT ABOVE the pane would be nice. It would be a quick glance above - right where I am working in that tab. And then to be able to very quickly hit a breadcrumb in the path - heaven. :D

Baby steps  Let's start with breadcrumb in [a single] AB and then grow from that. I'm actually putting together quite a substantial feature regarding GUI improvements and that will be one of them. In the meantime, you don't use Google Chrome by any chance, do you? :P

The full path of the current folder is generally always visible quite readily in the XY title bar at top..ok, so it's not immediately above the pane but it's not THAT far away...and so, ok...it's not clickable for breadcrumbs but that's another issue.

You meant to say "wish list" or "feature request", and not 'feature', right?
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
(XP on laptop with touchpad and thus NO mouse!) Using latest beta vers when possible.
