Windows 7 Jump Lists

Post by Liquidmantis »

I'm really getting a lot of use of the Win7 Jump List functionality in other applications. For example, Windows Explorer shows frequent folders and your pinned folders. It'd be great if XYPlorer offered frequent or recent and pinned. Even better would be if there was some link between pinned folders and a Catalog listing, perhaps showing Favorites in the jump list.

Please use "Search" as another thread related to this matter has been opened already:

As a side note, I believe this would be challenging at this time because Don has not upgraded to Win 7 yet, so he has yet to feel the pleasure of this operating system's functionalities.

Ah, I had searched a couple of weeks ago and didn't realize one had been started since.

No problem. Personally, I cannot foresee this feature being implemented in the near future. This is because only Windows 7 users will be able to take advantage of it and proportion of said userbase is relatively minor. Generally, I believe that if a user wishes for a OS-specific feature to be implemented, then it is a good start to vote for that OS in this poll http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=2919 if you have not done so already ;)
