OT: how to contact PayPal

Does anybody know how to contact PayPal? I gave up after surfing their websites in circles for 30 minutes. I'm a PayPal customer for 5 years now and want to talk to them. Hey, I'm used to get no answers from large companies, but this is the first time I'm not even allowed to pop the question!

BTW, can you recommend an alternative to PayPal?

Google Checkout and Moneybookers seem to be mentioned rather often. I used neither so can't add more than that.

I have 402-935-2050 in my Google Voice contact list, so I guess I called them at least once...you could do so via Skype for a low cost, I believe...

Personally, I've only had one minor issue with them that was quickly resolved...and I don't know of any real alternative, other than Google Checkout but that has some real quicks as to how it works from what I've heard...my web site host for my other site (a non-profit co-op runs the server: http://hcoop.net/) uses both PayPal & Google and they prefer PayPal.

Thanks guys! The problem was that I had the wrong language settings in my paypal profile! Now after I changed from English to German, I can indeed easily find contact options. I had never imagined that in the internet something exists only in German but not in English... and I still don't believe it. It's probably caused by some AI module which was more artificial than intelligent...

Came across a tech story today and it sparked my memory -- Amazon operate a payment service (https://payments.amazon.com/sdui/sdui/b ... =paynow/pn). According to diagrams, it's a simple mechanism and is backed by strong reputation of Amazon brand. Ebay and Amazon are pretty much level in terms of traffic, so I feel that it will get a good audience. This leaves the ball in your court to determine whether it fits your business needs.

In the meantime I could fix the issue with the help of the paypal staff and all works smoothly now.
