Tab behaviour in Recent Locations

Post by zer0 »

Granted, I don't use tabs in XYplorer very often. I do, however, in Firefox every day, so this wish is based on behaviour that's standard in browsers that have tabs (FF, IE etc).

Onto the wish...I'd like it so, if you'd click on an entry in Recent Locations while holding Ctrl, this entry would open in a new tab. This is how it works in both FF and IE, there's no reason not to do it: just click --> opens in current tab, click + Ctrl --> opens in new tab. Simple and useful, especially if you forget to enable sticky selection ;)

I think this works with Shift+Click with XY?

Yes, that is correct. However, Ctrl+Click is already set to open a new background tab if used in Tree and Catalog, so I would simply like this functionality to be extended over to Recent Locations as well.
