Column Width and Window Width
I see that there is a autowidth for columns but it only seems to be on demand. Is there a way to automatically adjust column widths so that each column is showing all information without cutting off info to right. I would also like to have this feature on the left pane where the computers/folders show, is that possible?

Welcome to the Club. I'm afraid you're mistaken that auto-width adjustment is strictly on-demand. Go to View -> List Style -> tick Autosize Columns and it will be done on-the-fly. As for the tree pane, there is already a wish for it here: http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=3438 you're more than welcome to add your voice to it

Thanks for the quick response. I never saw the autosize where you pointed me to. Everything is easy if you know where to look and you obviously new where.
I just followed your direction and it worked but I can't seem to make that the default view. If I go to another folder even a subfolder where I set it to autosize the setting is not checked and it used a previous setting. I would like to make the autosize as the default for all of my views and all of my folders. If you would be able to tell me I would appreciate it.

Re: Column Width and Window Width
By the sounds of things, you have Folder View Settings (FVS) enabled (more about it here: http://www.xyplorer.com/tour/index.php?page=fvs) and you can switch it off to have uniform settings across all folders, including those for column width. If you want to keep FVS on, then you'll encounter folders that don't have autosize columns all the time. Your best bet will be to save a view that keeps just columns' layout details and then apply it to folders that you want on-demand. I don't think there is a way to mass-apply ticking of "Autosize columns" to all your different folder views.neil wrote:I just followed your direction and it worked but I can't seem to make that the default view. Re: Column Width and Window Width
Thanks for the info, I removed FVS control and it is fine now.
