My Searches With # Don't Work

I have a lot of files that begin with 4 numbers and then a dash.
When I use ????-*.*, they are found but also ones that aren't four numbers, but characters.
When I use ####-*.* to only get the ones with numbers, I don't get any.

Help tells me I can use # for "any single digit (0-9)" as ? is used for "any single character".

Wildcards (Pattern Matching Special Characters)

Characters in pattern Matches in string
? Any single character
* Zero or more characters
# Any single digit (0-9)

These screenshots are a good example of why users must be prevented from tampering with the font used for buttons and labels.

Configuration | Find and Filter | Find Files & Branch View | Find Files | Enable extended pattern matching

Well, glad it worked but this was just repeated info from the thread that I referenced earlier for you to look at, so next time read more carefully.
