Shortcut keys stop working if pressed when preview tab is open

Not always, but often, shortcut keys stop working if pressed when preview tab is open and an image is being previewed. This persists even after closing the preview tab. It also becomes impossible to delete or copy files or folders. Upon relaunching XY, everything goes back to normal.

Give an example: which keys, which file type is previewed?

I misidentified the problem. Sorry. This occurs with text and doc previews.

When previewing image files, the TAB key alternates ok between tree and list panes.
But when previewing text/doc files, TAB alternates between tree, list and preview – and the cursor "enters" the preview – and does not leave. And then it is as if the program "freezes" all keys.

If I then use the mouse to select a file or folder, the program seems to "unfreeze", but all user-defined commands are disabled, as well as copy and delete.

Try this tweak:
PreviewDocsFocusStealFixExt=txt.doc

Or whatever your text file extension is...

Still not working. Some other text and doc files don't "steal" the cursor, but "txt", "css" and "docx" continue to do so…
