FAQ page should list potential cause of slowness

The current FAQ Page https://www.xyplorer.com/faq-topic.php?id=defender only mention antivirus. Please add settings/tweaks that potentially slowdown XYplorer.

In my case, browsing a folder is much slower than /fresh. But I could not identify why.

A FAQ is a FAQ, and this has never been a FAQ.

since i just today faced same problem , here a tutorial )

- Test out a completely isolated/fresh XYplorer install(portable)
- IF its faster than your current XY , you can manualy move your customisations/settings to the fresh XY step-by-step.
- Test the performance impact after each step .
- this way you can either isolated whats causing the problem or you end up with a error free XY instance.

manually mirror/recreate :
1. Settings
2. Catalogs folder ( copy paste ) and import it
3 tag.dat ( copy paste )
4 Scripts folder ( copy paste )
5 Custom Event Actions
6 User Defined Comands
7 Panes folder ( copy paste ) if needed...

in my case XY would create mp4 thumbs @ 1 thumb per second and browsing mp4 in ThumbView was VERY stuttery ...
after migration, browsing is FAST and CRISP like Vanilla and the mp4 Thumb generation speed if over 10-20/second .
I obviously used the same ini file from day 1 , maybe some bad settings accumulated , who knows .
