I'm not sure what you did Don in beta 27.90.0036, but my load times just cut in half. Not at x32 times yet, but huge improvement. :tup: :appl: EDIT: OK, I noticed the beta notes stating that having the tagging feature disabled may have slowed down my sytem. Funny, just the opposite of what I intended. :)

No, the tagging feature currently slows down startup, and disabling it did not eliminate the slowdown. That was the bug that has now been fixed.

Thanks, I didn't. Your problem is the remembered Maxi Tree with 1029 nodes. I assume it starts up faster the second time since Windows caching will have set in by then. Also, I don't think the 32-bit version is much faster with the same setup. Or is it?

I do not use tree. If possible, do not load the tree at startup when the tree is hidden...

Restart showed 2,344 ms. Dropped confirm tree setting.
