:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

XY crash

Post by fvan »

I am a new user of XY. When I double-click to open a file, XY crash very frequently. This happens mostly of PDF, but not only. Frequency is about one time over about 5 double-clicks, which is of course too much. Thank you for help.

- XY version number?
- 32bit or 64bit
- Always the same file, or random?
- Is it a crash or a hang? System-wide, or just XY?
- Is there an error message?

What about other ways to open a file, ENTER or via context menu?

I encounter the same crash when opening with ENTER or via the context menu.

Does it always crash when you open the same file, or only about 20% of the time?

About 20% of the time, for any file.
