[SOLVED] Xyplorer and 7zip

Hello all,

im using windows 11 arm, on my surface pro "11"

i cant see the menu 7-zip while i can see on explorer.
i was using 7zip for arm64 so i removed and installed the 32b version..while xyplorer is 32b (i have read that in some posts)
but not working still..

any idea?

i did both...
enable/ disable/enable....
nothing works :s

update... i did many time yesterday...and just now it's working when i disable this option..
maybe because i restarted my computer...but i did yesterday also...

ok the configuration changed, im using 7zip portable, but i can clearly see the submenu of 7zip in explorer but not on Xyplorer...
i tried so many configuration on this shell integration but impossible to see 7zip...

please help !

A real portable 7-zip doesn't have any Explorer integration.
Maybe you have a portable Apps version of it.

For a normal x64 7zip installation, XY shows the context menu entries of it,
regardless of the Shell integration settings.

Your options in the 7zip file manager should look like this for the top level entries

thanks for your reply, and if portable version dont have proper explorer integration, why on explorer its working perfectly ? and not in xyplorer ?


i have these settings, and i can change/update the settings and it reflects perfeclty on explorer...but not in xyplorer

According to your Screenshot, an important setting is NOT set.
XY is a 32bit program, and you don't have set the integration for it.

Because the Windows Explorer is a 64bit program.

oh....true...xyplorer is 32....i forgot that !

I see 2 ways
- Installing 7zip x64 and set the options.
or
- Use a portable 32bit version of 7zip.

i found another thing, i installed nanazip, quite good, recognized of xyplorer when u disable show 64b menu.
and its compatible with unigetui
