HoverBox on folder contents

Post by Linkaday »

Hi all!
Right-click on folder icon then hovering items shows 'File is empty'.
Edit:
Only on folders with no subfolders.

Your post is a bit light on details, I doubt there are enough to find the issue if there is one, but if you are talking about the popup showing "FOLDER is empty" in a blue line that happens for empty folders, then that is meant to happen.

I can see it. Hovering files in a Mouse Up Show Down list indeed shows "File is empty" for every file. Needs a fix and gets a fix.

Mea culpa, I thought you'd need more details, I hadn't upgraded to .0101, or read the changelog yet to realize the OP could be referencing the latest beta at the time of posting.

I noticed that in 26.40.0200+ this behavior still happens for symlinks, but it occurs in the normal list HB too, not just MUSD.

Configuration | Information | File Info Tips & Hover Box | [x] For junctions as well

Not on my computer until tomorrow, but I did notice symlink Archives were ok, text/image showed issue in fresh with just just that Junction setting and enabling HB changes in conf.

Maybe Win 10 specific, I'll research more tomorrow if u don't see it still.

Yeah I can still repro everytime in fresh just enabling the HoverBox, I am on my NTFS drive if that matters, just to be sure we are talking about the same thing, here is an example.

I mistakenly cropped the HB details out, but under the blue line it displays the correct target filesize and link destination.
Anyway if you can't repro no worries, I use MDBU usually anyway, which works.
