Move the Preview Pane to the left side?

Is there a way to move the Preview Pane to the left side? It does everything I want (image wise), but given the configuration of my desk and monitor (something I cannot readily change), previews show up all the way on the right side (furthest from me), which makes things difficult to see (I have poor eyesight).

The Floating Preview gets in the way, while Info Panel (Preview) doesn't make good use of screen real estate. The Preview Pane is perfect, with the only flaw being its location.

Is there a way to change the layout somewhere in the configuration files, so it appears first, before any other control?

Preview panel cannot be moved to the left under the Tree list?

On the left, not under the tree though,

Window | Arrangement | Preview Pane to the Left

or you can use the Preview Panel instead (Ctrl+4), which goes under the tree if you enable this

Window | Arrangement | Wide Info Panel

only 1 preview area will be shown at a time, close whichever you aren't using.
