no sure dont have windows media player installed on here. i usually use Pot player but vlc is on here as well. Maybe this might help in troubleshooting: So seconds ago, i found a few micheal jackson songs play and then they stopped, the same ones i just played, the off the wall song for sure played and now it says file type excluded from preview in configuration, but I did not do anything in the settings in between in playing and now not. And I go to settings and i see that i still had the preview thumbnail category turned off, yet it did play that mp3 a few minutes prior, the most i would have done in between that time was navigate through a few more directories with mp3 and navigated right back now i just go to some main mp3 folders and do branch view and just hold the down arrow until i get to one that plays. maybe a few dozen did. Weird right?

Also, Im trying to follow your instructions but I dont know where to enter the command you posted. Do i just paste that in the folder path bar and press enter? Well, yep looks like it gave me what i needed. Here ya go:

In the latest screenshot you are on the Raw View tab, not Preview, so the output is expected, except the messed up fonts on the checkboxes.

I cannot reproduce those messed up fonts, can you?

Those are just some random fonts Ive picked in the fonts preferences
Using : Segoe Pro Light 9.86 on pretty much all 4 of the places you can choose fonts

@Don: No never seen that before, but I never live change DPI.

@Skettalee: I can't understand your reported issues, and since you are on a dev build of Win11, issues could be expected, as such, I'm tapping out.

I don’t understand, who is Don? Also I have 2 4K 37” LG monitors and when I sit up close at my computer chair I have it as low as 100% sometimes 150% but as of late (hurt my back) I have had to spend a lot of time out of the computer chair and laid in a lazy boy a few feet away from the screens and when sitting there I change to much higher up to 250% scale in order to better see what I’m doing. But also my issue with the software I am trying to resolve is not the size of the font or placement of elements. I assume the elements breaking is my fault change res but my post is to figure out the issue with mp3 preview not working and being very inconsistent but also I was under the impression that I turned off beta release of the software. Gonna go back and rectify if it still is on the beta and that could explain having issues that the last times I used the app weren’t there.

But as far as the mp3 preview issue, anyone have any options I can try to fix that?
