Recent Audio Issues..

First im wondering is it that yall make changes that when i update these changes change settings cause I have noticed plenty of times ive used your app and come back after a day not using it and it seems like a setting is changed always different but anyway riught now i recently like 5 months ago realized yall Sound events and made custom sounds for nearly every event yall had and still have the audio files plugged into the sound events dialog but I no longer hear the sounds. Atleast sometimes i might hear the one for deleting files but its not always and i just said screw trying to figure out a fix or whatever but I also use this app to go through alot of audio sampling it quickly and now only wav files previews when i highlight it, mp3 does not. It also says in the preview "Previewed as Thumbnail." I researched and have went through the Preview formats to see if mp3 has been changed to another group like images but i dont see it, and mp3 is checked under audio files. Any idea on these sound issues i have right now?

researching it, i loaded a portable copy with default settings and weirdly its doing the same thing and only playing a few of the mp3's out of tons on different locations the same mp3 on each one. checking mp3 file and the sample rate and encoder settings are all the same i cant find something that distinguishes the ones that are playing .

THe app is having issues with playing audio maybe i assume. I wasn't hearing any of the sound events i set but today i open it and now i am hearing the sound events, so that part of the issue is fixed. The only thing that is acting weird is the fact that xyplorer all of a sudden only can preview maybe 10% of my mp3's that ive tried. I have went to directors where all the files at one time would preview but they are not anylonger and i didn't do anything to those files to change them, here are some screenshots to show you : https://i.ibb.co/fqP6HyD/noteplauyign.png

Sorry, i have to go back on what I said about the program playing sound events correctly. Maybe its the min duration column cause i dont remember that being in there before. Im sorry, im just replying to ask if I did anything wrong that I dont know I did? Could be my issue's with depression just telling me that nobody likes me but I was just trying to figure out the issues i was having with the program to better use it. I have also had the program crash a few times this time right now is just the only time I copied the text before reloading it and it was this :
(ps: when I got that error I had to force quick cause close button did not work at all, it just kept poping back up with the Error 91 window. And also I am sorry if i am too needy trying to understand the app 100% and use all of its features that I would like, i dont mean anything negative and i am greatful for all the help you guys have given. I have even offered more than once to give my services to you guys for free to show my apreciation.

1) Can you tell me what you did before you got this error? Can you repeat it at will?

I have finally figured out my sound events, it was because they were custom sounds that i just placed in windows\media\ and after a windows update, windows os deleted the files there, now i just use them on their own directory. but yes the MP3 is still a problem , matter of fact it looks worse now on the preview tab it shows weird code, it looks like this:

In the latest screenshot you are on the Raw View tab, not Preview, so the output is expected, except the messed up fonts on the checkboxes.

Are you sure you haven't added mp3 to the "Preview as Thumbnail" category? From your earlier description/screenshots it seems like only mp3s that don't have coverart are playing, the others are showing the album cover.

Configuration | Preview | Previewed Formats | Categories

Just temp disable the whole category to test.

Yeah i just now realized the raw thing, they still dont play. i just tried this time and it did something i never noticed before, i highlight the mp3 and poen the preview windows with F12 and it had a button that i can press "preview now" i think it said. I clicked it and it just shows the thumbnail and says previews as thumbnail. as far as the preview format stuff, i assume its the same as it starts factory because i never touched anything in those options cause i didn't have an idea what its for. Ijust went and unchecked the category Preview as thumbnail and it still doing the same preview as thumbnail when i highlight a file. should i remove the cover art on one and try again. I didn't think I actually have an mp3 file that doesn't have the cover art, if i did then thats a mistake and id like to go and fix that in my mp3. Im ocd/anal about my data, tags, file names and even font size at times. I noticed that the program fonts break anytime i change my screen size % like from 100% to 225% and what not, i understand the cause of the breaking thing cause there are a few not many but a few other programs i have that kinda break that way... not to mention even some MICROSOFT windows programs, lol.... But yeah anyway, let me know, i can screenshot the whole app preview settings but there are bunch and it wouold take minute. Id be easy for me to just start a live stream on twitch showing my computer and maybe you can talk me through it on discord or something (not expecting you to do all that for me though, just trying to figure out how I can get the right information to you about the problems for troubleshooting. Let me know what else i can try. I thought I had even opened a throw away clone of the app with i assume "factory" settings and it still didn't play some of the mp3's, its weird cause i know for a fact i used the program before to play those exact mp3 files. I assume they play ok in the Preview Panel Ctrl+F11?

You Know i have been testing mp3 on any drives i have a good bit today and actually havent gotten any of my mp3's to play anymore, the cntrl + F11 just pops up a thumbnail. Its like everything feels like the mp3 files are in the preivew by thumbnail category and not audio files but no, i dont know if you can custom add more preview category's but right now i think everything inside both the categorys and also the file formats listened bellow them they all seem to be checked, except the preview as thumbnail one cause i just unchecked it a little bit ago. Is there not a bug report file or something that this app can make to review if any errors happen to get the cause possibly?

You can run this with a mp3 selected and post the results previewcheck;

You haven't uninstalled Windows Media Player from Windows have you?

Man, i seem to be the person to find the weirdest errors through computer software and even OS, maybe because I do so much with my computer that it sometimes is a special case scenario based on all the hardware, peripherals and such that i us on my computer or what settings I tend to like my computer settings at..... I am still going through mp3's i might not be keeping track very well.... im far from perfect.... very far, but i could have sworn a certain folder i tested the mp3 files there already but now i got some to play. Im keeping a list of which ones play to test them again maybe tomorrow now though cause this is crazy how its working/or not working out for me.

You think maybe there is another setting somewhere deep in all the settings they have this program that i might have changed that somewhere along the lines might cause this that we havent checked? I do use this program daily for atleast 3 hours a day and there are alot of times trying to figure out exactly what each setting does so i can figure out more that this app does that im still unaware, so i probably changed nearly every setting forward or back and tried to figure out what it actually does change, not sure though cause it also happens when i open a portable copy or cloned copy.. paused and went try again, i tried throw away clone, my installed copy and a portable version that for sure doesn't have any custom settings on it and right now it seems like the only mp3's i can get to play... and this is out of probably 8000 mp3's.... is only ONE of my Billie Eilish albums.
