Re: Teracopy
And here I was about to ask the same thingjcmn wrote:Hi
There is a freeware called Teracopy (from Codesector) that can be used as a copy/move file manager.
Can XYPlorer integrate it's use as happens with other file managers?

Not very soon, I'm afraid. Look at the roadmap... time is one-dimensional (probably) ...Cristian wrote:Great plan!![]()
I hope it will be finished very soon.

I just posted this to TC blog:
Because...the release notes for TC say "Added: Directory Opus support" so if that's the case, it may need to be coded a bit from both ends to meet in the middle, if you will...Coming here based on post in XYplorer user forum (http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic.php?t=2012) where integration with XYplorer was requested. However, based just on notes/comments seen here, it seems that integration may need to be also done from THIS end. Could TeraCopy author work with Don Lessau (XY author) to make this happen? It would/should be to benefit of both app's! I'm not a user of TC but am interested now, while I am a dedicated user of XY.
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!

Manipulate the right click menu or go to User>Manage Commands... and assign the path and shortcut key. Yeah, extra clicks, but they come in handy when copying lots of files.

The Directory Opus supports seems to consist of using TeraCopy as a custom command, I'm guessing sort of like using UDC in XYplorer.j_c_hallgren wrote:Because...the release notes for TC say "Added: Directory Opus support" so if that's the case, it may need to be coded a bit from both ends to meet in the middle, if you will...

In that case I have nothing to do, and it should be easy to write a working UDC to integrate TeraCopy. Can any TeraCopy user confirm this?noirRLC wrote:The Directory Opus supports seems to consist of using TeraCopy as a custom command, I'm guessing sort of like using UDC in XYplorer.j_c_hallgren wrote:Because...the release notes for TC say "Added: Directory Opus support" so if that's the case, it may need to be coded a bit from both ends to meet in the middle, if you will...
