Hi,
I've been using XY for a month now and have just bought it.
Can anyone explain to me what the purpose of the Mini Tree is...?
I thought it was hiding unwanted folders. Say my documents folder has about 20 folders in it -- I excluded 15 of them, keeping only the 5 I use on a regular basis. Thought it was great.
But then they all came back. And sometimes I only see one or two folders there.
Super confused about what's going on.
Any advice here on what I'm doing wrong? Or what this feature actually does?
Cheers

I see... that makes sense.
Is there a way to stop it from showing or hiding folders based on what I use? I.E., just going off what I have and haven't excluded from it?

Re: A little confused about the Mini Tree
No, you can't set exclusions, but as mentioned in that link you can re-load your favorite minitree with the help of scripting in for instance 1 button press etc. although I think for what you're describing the catalog may suit you more, check it out.

Just add the locations you want, no exclusions needed.

Re: A little confused about the Mini Tree
You can lock the Mini Tree. That way, no folder will be added to it, even if you browse in this folder.
