An indication for files copied

Would it be too much effort to split the <what is copied> into
1. Files
2. Folders

E.g.:
Move / Copy 3 Files | 5 Folders to:
<path>

IMO this reduces the power of it by making a simple thing more complicated.

The nice border made me immediately expect images to be previewed on left drag.

Slows it down, and is calling for trouble (give them gif, and they scream for pdf...).

A couple of minor issues though:
- If I press escape while dragging to cancel the move or copy, the box stays on screen and even changing the current folder does not remove the box. It doesn't happen every time but quite frequently going to tree or tab.
- It only works for me on left dragging (with left dragging allowed in Config). It does not work for right dragging anywhere. I'm not sure if that was intended. It might be welcome on right drag as well even though we'll get a type of move / copy selection context menu box on right drag.

1) Cannot reproduce.

2) It's intended like this. Right-drag does not lead to immediate action, the fly boy would be misleading here.

But: could it make sense, especially for multi-selections, to also include the file item size information? Actually it would be a "copy" of what is shown in the status bar just right at the hot spot of action.

Yes, I did have Configuration | Other | Shell Integration | Drag and Drop | Use standard shell drag and drop ticked. The new fly boy move/copy box issue (i.e., box remaining on the screen after the operation is aborted by ESC) that I reported does seem to happen only when I have that option tick. If I select even a single file and drag it to a tree destination but cancel by hitting escape, the box stays on the screen whether I reached the destination or not.

sorry but yes, i have different color associations. for the moment, i'd change blue = copy(all safe), orange = move(you better think where you're moving), purple and graphite are ok. but it's me, so i think other users would have their color associations too.

You need to tweak it in the ini, the first hex value is Copy the second is Move in the below string:
