I'm not sure I would use this, but my vote would go for:
KS > Command Caption
or maybe
KS > Category > Command Caption
sicne "Command Caption" might not really be enough to really know what it is, especially for newbies.

Idea: why not ask the user which field to export, eg it would be this:
KS > Category > Command Caption > Description

But one could decide what to include or not. KS would have to be there obviously, Command Caption too most likely, but Category & Description could be optional?

BTW, I see you added Fully Expand/Collapse on Misc, but not "regular" Expand/Collapse (though they have KS: Numpad Add and Numpad Substract)

I thought: (1) nobody uses these anyway so if they are used for any other function (hence overwritten) who cares? (2) they are part of standard Windows tree functionality, like navigation keys, so no need to document them or lift them to "function status".

Ok. Just asked cause i tried quicky, and Numpad Multiply to fully expand works on Explorer too, so... And since you added in CKS things like that, Delete (Del), etc I thought you might have missed them


hmm.. I probably missed that but, why are all combos using arrow keys "not customizable" ? (And is that why they're not caught not pressed with focus on commands list?)

Little thing: it might not be doable, but for the commands available on SR only, couldn't it be said on Scope instead? That would make sense, and be more noticable I think.

And if it can't be done, since you mentioned subsections, then maybe create one like "Search Results Only", helps sorting things out & making it more noticable...

"not customizable" because they are untouchable standard in Windows control navigation. However, those with ALT in the combo are customizable.

Not caught with focus in list: to allow navigating the list by keys.

hmm... one more question then: why is Ctrl+Left assigned by default?
It says "not customizable" is you press it, but it is in fact assigned to "Go to Focused Item" (SR only)

Hmmm ... you are right: this key has to be changed! Else you cannot use Ctrl+Left to move the focus between columns in e.g. "List" view in find mode. (:evil: I got so used to this key over the years) The new shortcut will be Ctrl+Alt+Left!

Not sure if this can be called a bug, but...

If the tree, catalog or list have the input focus then pressing F6 to cycle between them, or AltGr+C, L, or T works fine, but as soon as the address bar gets the focus both F6 and the AltGr combos stop working. (Tried with .0039)

It's a feature: address bar is not within the scope of these commands.

Oh yeah, about that... why is that so? Because I for one would like it better if the scope for those was Global instead.
Reason: The point of having a shortcut to focus the List is just that, no matter what is focused at some point, pressing it will move the focus to the List. I don't really care about AB as I don't use it, but I wish those would work even if the focus is on Panel... (especially since then, using Tab would work but unlike AB there are quite a few "focus grabber" in between ;))

Sorry, of course you are right, it's a bug!

"Move focus among Tree, Address Bar, and List." and Scope = "Tree, List, Catalog." ... that cannot work.

Yes, of course. I move something around in one of the last versions and the apparently mixed up the scopes. :roll:

cheat sheet

Hey English, is "cheat sheet" a good term for this? I need something short for a caption like "Copy Cheat Sheet", but there might be a better term... probably "Copy Shortcut List"?

I think that "cheat sheet" is a very commonly used term...but exactly what context is this caption for? Tooltip? And how much room to you have? If you've only got room for 3 words, then I'd probably say 'Copy "Cheat Sheet"' and use quotes...because in "Copy Shortcut List", it's possibly confusing..."Copy List of Shortcuts" might be a option too.
Speaking of this, in the Report tab of Find Files, there are options to output column headers and/or current date and to send it to Clipboard/File/Printer...would any of these be available at some point in future for CKS cheat sheat?
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
(XP on laptop with touchpad and thus NO mouse!) Using latest beta vers when possible.

In the meantime i decided to make it a menu so space is not that sparse.

Other options would be possible, but I think the current way should suffice for now since it leaves all further formatting/output options to you.
