Re: Interface Colors not saved
I have some more information to add to this. I updated to 8.80.0300, and left the start XY check box checked so the install started XY. XY started with large icons. I made the changes I described in the first post and closed XY. I started again and XY came up with small icons, which is how I had it ...

Re: Interface Colors not saved
I just changed Open Tab Text in Interface Colors and checked Apply...to List in Color Filters, quit and restarted XY, and they stuck. I would guess this is making debugging a real bear. both of these did not stick before.

Re: Interface Colors not saved
Here is what I know. I changed several check boxes in General and Advanced, checking some and un-checking others. I am pretty sure they all stuck. In Color Filters I turned on the check box to apply to the list, it did not stick. In File Info Tips I checked both the Show file and Show MP3 check boxe...

Interface Colors not saved
version 8.80.0300. Save settings on exit is checked. I just spent some time setting these colors the way I wanted. I closed XY and re-started and they are all gone. I had also changed some of the settings under General and Advanced and they seem to still be set the way I changed them. What have I m...

This works if you right click a folder in the tree.
I'd like it to be a right click option anywhere there is a folder, and if its a shortcut to a folder, open the folder the shortcut points to in a new tab.
is this possible now?

X close
This is great, I've been waiting a long time for it. it is a bit buggy however. When set to hover or Always it doesnt show on every tab. I'm currenty using 0260. If the tab contents is short enough the X will not display. Try C:\Tmp for an example. you will never see the close X.

Re: MiniTree
I like it. Auto sync the mini tree but if I branch outside it, don't sync it.serendipity wrote:The whole idea is to have the nodes of my interest expanded and rest stay out of sync.

Re: MiniTree
I don't think that's a good idea (if I understood it right this time). The current path should always be present and highlighted in the tree. Otherwise it would be a very confusing picture I think. Okay, you realize it's already possible in XY though, right? ;) So what he wants might be possible al...

Re: open command window here
That was too easy! Thanks, I forgot about customize toolbar, and its one of the first things I do when installing a new application. I always delete the cut/copy/paste tools immediately. That gives me more room for stuff I need. I usually cant remember KS unless they are common across many applicati...

open command window here
It works fine when right clicking any folder. what would be nice for me is if one or more of these were possible. put in the drop down menu when: right clicking a tab right clicking a category entry right clicking in the file display window The reason is that I have the option that syncs the folder ...

Re: 7.30.0000 crashes
Sorry its taken me so long to get back to you. After doing this Configuration - Advanced and check option "Default items only in shell context menu" I see WinZip, Entrust, Explore from here, XYplorer, and Open With. Unchecking the above adds Scan for threats (macafee enterprise), Edit with...

Re: 7.30.0000 crashes
its happened again with version 7.4.00001. i had a great writeup describing the problem, error dialogs and so on, and IE went wonky on me and wiped it out before i could send it. BAH! Essentially, I right clicked a file on a USB stick and selected the Delete option from the menu. It happened twice i...
