Glad we resolved it, although I'm not sure why disabling it was required for v1.5a

Changing alpha_instance to 0 fixed it. Must've missed that in the setup instructions. What does that do?

Not exactly sure what you mean. I go to Scripting -> Run Script -> Then get the popup window:

And the Paper tab opens:

Any reason why the results are blank (empty)?
Running ET Version 1.5.0.1367a (x64) running as a service

Getting back to the topic at hand, the Mini Tree cannot be disabled by default without a workaround like @highend's. As someone that doesn't use the Mini Tree, it seems silly that it would be recording all of these directory changes in the background and then slow down the load times of the program....

Hi team, Occasionally I get this error when starting XYplorer and have to clear out the history. Then it comes back up once it's full and slowing down the application again. I don't use mini tree and don't need history enabled. Is there some way to turn off this feature and get the productivity boos...

Interesting. Your method seems to work. The symlink was created with Link Shell Extension which has worked fine for me for years and never caused issues in any programs.

In the latest version, 18.2, there are both tags and labels under the favorites file tab. The difference is not very apparent to me and the documentation (tour) only talks about labels. Could either the documentation be updated or both of them combined into one?

When I type the address of symbolically linked folder in the address bar, XYplorer throw an error Not Found: Location Or Item Could not find: [] Accessing the parent directory and double clicking on the folder works fine.
