Re: 64bit on 2nd monitor - UI issues
@admin - you may recall we previously tried to resolve DPI/display problems on my multiple screens a few years ago. You never could resolve the problem and decided the only fix could come from a 64bit version. I downloaded the 64bit and am experiencing similar UI problems as @tonifelfe. My Win11 con...

Re: Parent Details View - Subfolders Thumbnails View
Thanks again, highend! It works like a champ. And now, I think I understand Folder View Settings!

Parent Details View - Subfolders Thumbnails View
Hi, this should be easy, but I can't seem to figure it out.
How do I set a parent folder "C:\Photos" to details view, but all of its (and future) subfolders ("C:\Photos\2025") to thumbnails view #3, etc.?

AI driven help
If there's one product that can benefit from AI, it's XYplorer! It's so powerful, with so many options, that I often wonder how everyone remembers a fraction of what's possible. My dream wish is to have the Help file and the contents of this (huge!) forum fed into a LLM that can be queried with a ch...

Shortening Paths in "Path" column
In Paper Folders, Hot Lists, etc., where paths or the "Path" column are displayed, when XYplorer needs to truncate the path, it shows the lowest ("containing") folder name and then removes characters from the end of the path until the necessary width is met. It would be nice (may...

tabsets/folder view
I can't decide if this feature should be in Tabsets or Folder View, it would make sense in both. Most of the time I keep the preview pane off to speed browsing and maximize screen space, but for some folders it's necessary to quickly see what's in each file (pictures, pdfs, etc.). It would be nice i...

Re: Edit Comment
Thanks highend. I got it working with tagitems("cmt",input("Enter Comment:",,tagitems("cmt",))) assigned to a UDC+keyboard shortcut. This works okay, but a double-click on the field would be faster and more intuitive. :D  Thank you for pointing me in the right ...

Edit Comment
Is there a way to edit the comment field/column directly (without right-click/edit, etc.)?
Say, double-click the comment column, enter comment, hit enter - done! Super quick!
If not, is this possible with a script .. or perhaps a new feature? It would be very, very useful.

Re: New Logo/Icon
Happy to hear about the change of mind! Thank you.
Now, how do I go about getting the OLD logo back on my Windows taskbar? The new logo automatically updated on the taskbar when implemented, but the old one hasn't changed back with 23.70.0324.

Re: Revisiting Auto-Scaling
You should've been a detective! ha! dlog; indeed reveals the problem. I did 4 tests with each test starting on a different monitor and moving in different pattern among the monitors. See the results below: Here's what I found: a) regardless of which monitor I start XY on, dlog always shows that I st...

Re: Revisiting Auto-Scaling
Sorry, but it looks the same. No visual change from 21.30.0022 However, I see that the "Screen DPI" line has changed in the screen; command for both the primary and secondary: Primary Screen; Screen XYplorer 21.30.0026 - Windows 10 Professional, 64-bit, Release 2004, Build 19041.630 Virtua...

Re: Revisiting Auto-Scaling
Unfortunately, no joy. We've gone backwards. The toolbar, tab and breadcrumb lines are now only displaying half height on both the Primary and Secondary screens (see images below). Scaling still doesn't work on the Secondary screens. Here's the primary screen: 201209_Primary Screenshot.png And the s...
